About Us

The Adrienne C. Nelson High School Band Boosters is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization that was created by band parents on November 1st, 2022 to help provide financial support and enrichment for the band educational program while fostering close working relationships between students, parents, school and the community of Adrienne C. Nelson High School Band. (EIN 92-1025176)

At the heart of the Boosters is a group of dedicated parents, teachers, and community members who are committed to supporting and promoting the high school band program. Led by a volunteer Board of Directors, the Boosters work tirelessly to provide financial, logistical, and moral support for the Hawks Bands Community.

Our team fundraises year-round to cover expenses such as instruments, uniforms, sheet music, and travel costs. We also organize and coordinate various events throughout the year, including concerts, competitions, and social gatherings. In addition, we provide assistance with transportation, chaperoning, and other logistical needs.

We believe that music education is an essential part of a well-rounded education and that it provides numerous benefits to students, including improved academic performance, increased creativity, and enhanced social skills. By supporting the high school band program, the Boosters are helping to ensure that students have access to these important benefits.
