Wind Ensemble 

Wind Ensemble is the Intermediate/Advanced Band.  To qualify, students will need to audition using the materials listed below.  

Wind Ensemble is open to instrumentalists in grades 9 through 12 who want to further their study of instrumental music, and develop their personal musicianship through an extensive exposure to significant compositions for the wind band.  Wind Ensemble performs 3-4 concerts each year. In addition, students will participate in a solo or chamber competition.  All students in Wind Ensemble will also prepare music for and perform as members of the Nelson High School Pep Band.
