Concert Attire

Concert attire is all dress black (see examples below)

Symphonic Band and Percussion will be wearing their band polo shirt.  Students in two bands may wear the attire of the higher level band.  For example, if you are in both Percussion and Wind Ensemble please wear all black as required by Wind Ensemble.

Symphonic Band & Percussion Ensemble

• Band polo shirt

• Black dress slacks or skirts

• Black dress shoes (no street shoes or tennis shoes)

Wind Ensemble & Jazz Band

• Black button-down with a collar (Silver ties provided)

• Black dress slacks or skirts

• All black dress (Silver sash provided)

• Black dress shoes (no street shoes or tennis shoes)

• Black socks

Polo Shirts

New students have been charged $10 per polo shirt (Band Boosters cover the other $20).  

Replacements have been charged the full $30 in the student's portal.  

Please pay fees in the Payment Portal or call Mr. Shipp in Bookkeeping to pay over the phone: 503-353-5750.

Polos are only needed for concerts for symphonic and percussion as well as basketball pep band.  Polos are yours to keep.

Feel free to refer to the examples provided, but keep in mind that these are not exhaustive. Let's aim for a polished and cohesive look for our performances. If students have questions please have them ask Mr. Donnelly or a member of the Band Council.
